Michael Foods, Inc. in Norwalk, Iowa, seeks a Maintenance Lead to deliver maintenance and reliability services in our plant, championing asset health and the MFI ARM culture.

You will coordinate with the plant maintenance, operations and ARM teams, manage CMMS work orders, and mentor staff to improve preventive and corrective maintenance. The role requires 3–5 years as an industrial maintenance technician, SAP experience, and leadership training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Associate degree or two-year technical certificate, or experience with technical aptitude preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician preferred.
• Trained and competent in MFI MTL1, MTL2, MTL3 skills preferred.
• MFI People Leadership Essentials or equivalent training preferred.
• Active SMRP membership preferred.
• Prior experience in SAP preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead maintenance team members to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
• Execute and champion Precision Maintenance techniques with procedural compliance.
• Identify, develop, and implement reliability and performance improvements.
• Coordinate and facilitate maintenance and reliability training for team personnel.
• Lead technical troubleshooting and maintenance tasks with a teaching approach.
• Utilize CMMS to manage, document, and support reliability reporting.
• Keep accurate records (e.g., SAP data, training docs).
• Promote and uphold Michael Foods culture and safety values.
