Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a plant maintenance team, ensuring reliable operations, safety, and GMP compliance.

The role involves coordinating with plant and corporate contacts, managing contractors, and driving asset health improvements to support production goals. This on-site position requires strong leadership, planning skills, and hands-on experience with PLCs and maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience in industrial operations or maintenance preferred.
• CMRP certification preferred.
• Understanding of PLC and equipment automation preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance team to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Supervise maintenance contractors onsite with emphasis on safety and GMP requirements.
• Coordinate planning and budgeting for capital and operating costs.
• Identify root causes and contribute to RCA/RCM for asset reliability improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and food safety standards and company policies.
