Job summary

Butterball, LLC in Ozark, AR is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, ensuring reliable production equipment, safe practices, and regulatory compliance.

You will plan and manage budgets, supervise repairs, coordinate cross‑department activities, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes and overall site performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
• 2+ years of leadership experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role

Responsibilities

• Supervises the day-to-day activities of a team of entry level individual contributors and/or supervisors. Provides guidance, coaching, and support to ensure successful delivery of team goals.
• Prepares daily budget report for cost center. Maintains budgets in assigned department(s).
• Inspects jobs in process and at completion to ensure workmanship and safety standards.
• Oversee work order requests and planning of a continual work schedule to maintain company property in safe, healthy condition.
• Ensure proper maintenance of facility machinery and building; conducts safety and equipment audits.
• Tracks progress of open projects and oversees capital projects.
• Writes CERs to support capital projects and external resources when needed.
• Directs maintenance and repair of processing equipment and facilities with SAP CMMS, BOSS, etc.
• Develops, schedules, and manages a preventive maintenance program to keep production machinery in good condition.
• Recommends plans and implements equipment needs to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
