Job summary

Butterball is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic servicing and preventive maintenance of production machinery, plant systems, and grounds. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations while coordinating with multiple departments to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience and at least 2 years in leadership, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
5+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.
2+ years of leadership experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.

Responsibilities

Supervises day-to-day activities of a team of entry level individual contributors and/or supervisors, providing guidance and support to meet goals.
Prepares daily budget reports and maintains budgets for assigned departments.
Inspects ongoing and completed work to ensure workmanship and safety standards are met.
Oversees work order requests and schedules to maintain facilities in safe, healthy condition.
Conducts safety audits and equipment audits to ensure compliance and reliability.
Directs maintenance and repair of production equipment, buildings, and grounds while coordinating with relevant systems.
