Job summary

Butterball, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Day Shift in Carthage, MO to lead a maintenance team responsible for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic servicing of production machinery. You will ensure safety, adherence to policies, and reliable equipment performance while driving maintenance efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Four (4) or more years of relevant maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• One (1) or more years of leadership or supervisory experience, or demonstrated leadership capabilities sufficient to perform the responsibilities of the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the day-to-day activities of a team of maintenance technicians by providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure successful completion of work.
• Participates in HR activities including hiring, performance management, scheduling, team member development, corrective actions, and goal setting.
• Enforces company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Directs the maintenance and repair of production equipment, mobile equipment, buildings, utilities, and grounds in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
• Develops, schedules, and manages a preventive maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment in optimal operating condition.
• Plans daily work activities to support the Safety Accountability Process and Maintenance Accountability Program while ensuring appropriate staffing and resource allocation.
