Job summary

Surlean Foods seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to direct and coordinate the upkeep of plant equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will coach the team, manage schedules, and ensure GMP/SOP compliance across operations.

Responsibilities include capacity analyses, PM scheduling, disciplinary actions when needed, cross-department coordination, and optimizing line setup for safe, productive runs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3–5 years related experience in maintenance supervision.
• Experience leading maintenance teams, ensuring GMP/SOP compliance and safety.
• Ability to develop budgets, schedules and cost controls for plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates maintenance of company property and machinery, personally or via lead personnel.
• Coach and develop team to improve efficiency and capability; manage maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOP and safety procedures at all times.
• Conduct capacity analyses and report findings to upper management.
• Maintain PM schedule for all plant machinery and verify completion.
• Take disciplinary action when procedures are not followed.
• Coordinate maintenance communications across departments to meet specs.
• Oversee setup/breakdown of production lines for safe, efficient tasks.
• Consult with production on machine/equipment modifications to improve production and quality.
