Job summary

Coastal Sunbelt Produce seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead safety standards, preventives and repairs across production equipment. You will mentor technicians, develop calibration schedules, and drive reliability improvements within a lean manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes GMP and SQF awareness to ensure product safety and quality. You will coordinate with operations on 5S, line moves, and uptime goals while maintaining thorough maintenance records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance leadership in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing.
• Strong preventive maintenance development experience; reliability-centered approaches preferred.
• Experience with lockout/tagout, JHA, hot work permits, confined space, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise safety policies and procedures (OSHA, NFPA, USDA, FDA).
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance program and schedule to meet production needs.
• Provide day-to-day supervision, training and coaching to maintenance staff.
• Identify training needs and implement RCA, FMA, and predictive maintenance.
• Plan equipment rebuilds, line moves, installations, and calibrations; coordinate with OEMs.
• Communicate maintenance metrics and ensure spare parts availability.
• Maintain department records and CMMS data.
