Smithfield Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at our Sioux Falls facility to lead a team of skilled technicians in predictive and preventive maintenance, ensuring reliability and safety. You will train staff, schedule activities with Production, and maintain accurate maintenance records.

The role emphasizes TPM, KPI tracking, and adherence to USDA regulations, with strong emphasis on leadership and continuous improvement in a large manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading trained teams, coaching and mentoring staff.
• Able to lead problem solving and troubleshooting for high-level process issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; willingness to work long hours and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Train employees on work methods and safety procedures; supervise maintenance systems and documentation.
• Plan and schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production; develop TPM and SOPs.
• Develop KPIs and provide regular status reports on maintenance performance.
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations; maintain records of maintenance and inventory.
• Step in for key personnel to complete tasks and support continuity; drive positive employee experience.
