Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager at the Ennis-Flint manufacturing plant in North Texas to oversee upkeep, safety, and cost-efficient maintenance. You will report to the Plant Manager and manage maintenance staff, parts, and procedures to keep the facility running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing maintenance supervisory responsibility.
• Technical/electrical/automation background in manufacturing and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Detailed Quality and Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentoring, and evaluations for maintenance staff, conduct maintenance training.
• Lead maintenance staff delegating work areas to them.
• Fix mechanical problems ensuring the work is tracked through CMMS software.
• Propose improvements and changes in maintenance procedures to improve quality, safety, service, efficiency of plant equipment.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure upkeep and maintenance of all plant areas and replacement parts inventory.
• Ensure proper working of all electrical units and systems in the plant.
• Ensure a record of all daily maintenance and service activities undertaken in a facility is kept.
• Follow all OSHA policies and rules while carrying out maintenance functions.
• Place orders for spare parts and equipment and synchronize work with other departments.
