Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute capital and process improvement projects at a paint manufacturing facility.

You will ensure delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with EHS and corporate standards while coordinating with Operations and Maintenance teams. The role covers scope development, budgeting, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and project closeout, with ongoing risk management and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and manage capital and continuous improvement projects within approved scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop detailed project plans and schedules using project management tools.
• Manage all phases of project execution: design, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup and closeout.
• Prepare project cost estimates and maintain forecasting of spending.
• Coordinate resources and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, engineering and corporate standards throughout all phases.
