Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products seeks a seasoned manufacturing professional to lead lean process improvements and capital projects across Texas locations. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS to drive profitability, throughput and quality while traveling 75–90% across Texas.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, expertise in lean methods, and experience with ERP/MRP systems. Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• Lean manufacturing methodologies experience
• Quality control/maintenance experience in manufacturing
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management tools
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and process capabilities
• Identify opportunities for improvement at regional locations and apply lean initiatives or capital investment
• Provide oversight, training and mentoring to plant-level teams executing lean activities
• Drive process changes through hands-on coordination with plant teams
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs
• Lead plant improvement workshops to diagnose bottlenecks and inefficiencies
• Provide training on kaizen, 5S and lean tools and techniques
• Translate operational needs into project requirements and specifications
• Develop capital project business cases including scope and financial analysis
• Perform ROI analyses for capital and CI initiatives
• Manage project commitments and monitor costs for budget compliance
• Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence framework in plants
