Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager (Construction) to drive lean manufacturing initiatives and capital improvements across the Texas region. This role focuses on increasing profitability, throughput, and quality by collaborating with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams.

The position requires heavy travel (75-90%) across multiple Texas locations and onsite work near one of our plants in Houston, Mansfield, Roanoke, San Antonio,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in precast.
• Lean manufacturing expertise to support continuous operations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for significant improvement across regional locations.
• Provide mentoring to plant-level teams executing lean initiatives.
• Drive process changes with hands-on communication with plant teams.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce waste and costs.
• Lead capital project proposals and ROI analyses with operations teams.
