Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Process Improvement professional to lead lean initiatives and capital projects across the Mid Atlantic region. The role demands heavy travel and close collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of manufacturing experience, strong lean capabilities, and proven leadership managing complex projects in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast or similar production settings.
• Apply Lean manufacturing methodologies to support continuous production operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of delivering positive results using lean techniques.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with AutoCAD and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple complex projects in a matrix environment.
• Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Establish safety, quality, and productivity requirements by providing technical training and assistance.
• Facilitate forums for plant-based SMEs and support plant management and engineering staff.
• Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence framework and best practices.
• Identify innovation opportunities for operations.
• Lead capital project scoping and white papers with leadership teams.
• Administer standards for next-level plant design supporting long-term strategies.
• Lead large capital projects and ensure smooth transition to operations.
• Identify sustainability opportunities inside operations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Safety, Quality on LOTO procedures.
• Develop and execute standard processes to evaluate, procure, and install new plant equipment.
• Conduct operational audits as requested.
