Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a manufacturing process improvement professional to lead lean initiatives and capital projects across Texas locations. The role involves collaborating with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EHS, and requires extensive travel (75–90%) across Texas plants.

You'll develop, evaluate and implement lean processes, optimize layouts, lead Kaizen events, and ensure adherence to Operational Excellence standards while delivering ROI and cost

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast.
• In depth knowledge and practical experience applying lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of achieving positive results using lean manufacturing techniques.
• Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management tools.
• Effective team builder and leader in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of project management software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for improvements across regional plants and investments.
• Provide training and mentoring to plant teams on lean processes.
• Drive process changes with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize plant layout to reduce waste and costs.
• Lead capital project proposals and ROI analyses.
