Job summary

CRH is seeking a Plant Manager for our on-site facility in Redding, CA. The role reports to the General Manager and drives the production process, safety culture, and cross-functional collaboration across operations, sales, engineering, and accounting.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in industrial manufacturing leadership, a background in precast/concrete or building materials, and a strong track record of continuous improvement and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in a leadership role in industrial manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and environmental practices on site; lead by example.
• Lead production scheduling to meet customer needs and timely delivery.
• Develop customer service focus and proactive communication across the team.
• Partner with engineering to ensure drawings and designs are used in manufacturing.
• Purchase materials/services to operate the facility.
• Hire, supervise, orient, train and retain staff.
• Maintain a clean, tour-ready workplace at all times.
• Read drawings and translate them into production tasks; coach staff.
