Job summary

CRH is seeking a Plant Manager for an onsite role in San Martin, CA. You will lead all plant manufacturing activities, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and drive maintenance and continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years in plant leadership, with strong capability in production planning, team management, and financial literacy. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years as a plant manager in a similar industry or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience managing people in production, equipment, maintenance and/or quality control.
• Ability to interpret production reports and P&L statements.
• Strong maintenance background with understanding of processes and equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct all plant manufacturing processes and ensure quality products while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Plan and direct equipment layout, workflow and workforce utilization; participate in procurement of raw materials and supplies.
• Plan work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet goals.
• Review production reports and profit-loss statements.
• Provide leadership and direction for overall production per company vision and values.
• Inspire, train and coach team members on daily responsibilities and process changes.
• Monitor performance of team members and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with Site Manager and Production Manager to improve processes and safety.
• Coordinate efficient use of employees, materials, and machines to meet goals.
• Communicate necessary information to employees and management.
