Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor's preferred in CIS or related field.
• 1–2 years of related experience required.
• General knowledge of computer operating systems, software and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily performance of computer systems.
• Answers user inquiries regarding software or hardware operations to resolve problems.
• Sets up equipment for employee use and installs operating systems or software.
• Installs and performs minor hardware or software repairs per specifications.
• Maintains records of daily data communication transactions and remedial actions.
• Reads manuals, confers with users, or conducts diagnostics to provide support.
• Refer major software or hardware issues to vendors or technicians.
