Arkema Inc. in Calvert City, KY is seeking a Staff Plant Instrument Engineer to provide instrumentation and control engineering expertise to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to improve process performance and manage capital projects.

The role emphasizes leading projects, optimizing control systems, and contributing to reliability initiatives across the plant while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
• At least 1 year of instrumentation and control experience in chemical, petrochemical, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Experience with DCS, PLC, and SIS platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve and optimize process control systems for plant performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Lead instrumentation and control projects through all phases: concept, design, construction, commissioning and startup.
• Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting instrumentation and control issues.
