While reporting to the Associate Director, Human Resources - IPP, the Sr Plant HR Manager is responsible for handling employee relations activities at designated branch plant locations. Responsibilities include understanding and applying Federal and State laws such as EEOC, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, NLRB, and other legal requirements to protect the company against litigation and maintain non-union status where applicable. Conduct surveys on employee morale, wages/benefits, employment issues, and develop reports and recommendations for management.
Works with management to communicate, train, coach, and assist employees to maintain effective morale. May assist with local hourly recruiting activities, including diversity hiring, employee tracking, and interviewing. Advises and participates in counseling regarding policies, procedures, legal requirements, performance, discipline, benefits, restructuring, etc.
This position supports our Paper Mill facilities located in Newport, TN. It is an onsite role with relocation benefits available per company policy.
The annual base salary ranges from $113,280 to $127,440, plus a target bonus of 7.5% of base salary.
