Job summary

King’s Hawaiian in Torrance, CA seeks a Senior HR Business Partner to serve as trusted advisor to plant and operations leaders across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, Warehouse, and Distribution.

You will leverage data to guide workforce planning, coach leaders, and drive talent development while ensuring CA wage/hour compliance. Partner with the People Team to advance safety, quality, and productivity on multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HRBP experience with trusted partnerships to leaders.
• Manufacturing experience with multi-shift hourly workforce preferred.
• Experience with Workday HCM, ADP products, and HR analytics beneficial.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to plant and operations leaders on organizational design, staffing, compensation, development, retention, and engagement.
• Coach leaders and front-line supervisors to set expectations and address issues.
• Use people data (turnover, absenteeism, overtime) to address root causes of HR-related problems.
• Maintain a visible plant-floor presence to engage hourly employees across shifts.
• Partner with Operations and Talent Acquisition on staffing and workforce planning.
• Mitigate employment risk and escalate high-risk employee relations issues when needed.
• Collaborate with EHS on safety culture and leave/return-to-work matters.
