Job summary

Brothers-International-Desserts in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support our hourly manufacturing workforce. This hands-on role focuses on employee relations, coaching, and frontline leadership development.

The Senior HRBP will partner with plant leaders to address issues, conduct investigations, and implement fair, compliant employment practices for a fast-paced operation. 10+ years of HR experience and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with employee relations responsibility.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing, hourly workforce.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience independently conducting workplace investigations.
• Experience coaching frontline supervisors and managers through performance issues, corrective actions, and difficult employee situations.
• Strong working knowledge of CA employment and wage-and-hour requirements.
• Strong coaching, communication, and influencing skills with credibility at all levels.
• Ability to manage sensitive issues in a fast-moving operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for plant leadership, supervisors, and team members on employee relations matters.
• Manage employee relations issues from intake through resolution, including workplace concerns, attendance, performance, conduct, policy violations, conflict, and corrective action.
• Conduct timely, objective workplace investigations and recommend actions based on findings and policy.
• Identify employee relations trends and partner with leaders to address root causes.
• Coach managers through performance, attendance, conduct, accountability, and difficult conversations.
• Facilitate training in employee relations, performance management, documentation, and California requirements.
• Support onboarding and development of new supervisors and managers.
• Partner with Operations to strengthen frontline leadership capability and consistency across shifts.
• Provide practical HR guidance in line with federal and CA requirements and company policies.
