Branding Iron Holdings in Rochester, MN, seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the on-site HR function at the manufacturing facility. This role partners with plant leadership to drive safety, productivity, and talent initiatives, including workforce planning, recruiting, and employee relations across all shifts.

You will implement HR programs, coach leaders, manage investigations, and ensure policy compliance while aligning with corporate HR practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing, distribution, or fast‑paced environment
• Experience advising plant/operations leaders and handling complex employee relations issues
• Knowledge of federal/state employment laws and HR policy application
• Able to balance employee advocacy with business needs and maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with HRIS, reporting, and analytics; MS Office proficiency
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR certification preferred

Responsabilités

• Serve as the on-site HR leader and trusted advisor to Plant Manager, managers, supervisors, and employees across all shifts
• Develop and execute the plant people strategy in support of safety, quality, productivity, and talent objectives
• Lead day-to-day HR operations for the facility with practical support for a fast-paced manufacturing workforce
• Coach plant leaders on employee relations, performance management, attendance, corrective action, policy interpretation
• Manage employee relations matters; conduct investigations and recommend action
• Lead workforce planning, hourly and salaried recruiting, onboarding and retention strategies
• Drive employee engagement through floor presence, listening, surveys, and follow-up on concerns
• Support labor relations and administer labor agreements and grievance processes where relevant
• Use HR metrics to identify risks and measure results
• Partner with EHS and plant leadership to reinforce safety culture and return-to-work processes
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and record-keeping
• Oversee HR policies, performance reviews, compensation actions, benefits, leave, and payroll coordination
• Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data; support audits
• Contribute to change initiatives and collaborate with corporate HR to share best practices
