Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to partner with the plant leadership team and drive a high-performance culture in our Prosperity, SC manufacturing site. You will lead HR strategy, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and compliance across the organization.

You will oversee training, performance reviews, succession planning, and development initiatives in collaboration with the Corporate L&OD team, while ensuring accurate records, lawful practices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Manufacturing experience is required.
• HRIS experience; Workday preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and South Carolina HR laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site operations leaders to design and implement proactive employee relations programs.
• Develop and execute cost-effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
• Lead staffing and recruitment for salaried and production roles.
• Oversee onboarding, background checks, drug screenings, offer letters, and orientation.
• Maintain HR systems and payroll records; manage leaves and unemployment claims.
• Conduct investigations and guide management on issue resolution.
• Lead training and development, performance reviews, succession planning, and leadership development with Corporate L&OD.
• Administer corrective action processes aligned with company values.
• Collaborate with Corporate HR on communications, compensation, benefits, and policy development.
• Manage local compensation programs including performance appraisals and wage-rate administration.
• Support benefits administration and respond to inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-site HR teams on projects.
• Provide leadership to HR staff and oversee engagement events.
