Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in HR, management, business or psychology.
• 1–3 years HR-related experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and HRIS systems.
• Payroll processes and benefits administration experience is a plus.
• Maintain confidential employee records and ensure legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support recruitment: postings, resumes, phone screens and references.
• Process hourly hires/terminations; prepare files and coordinate onboarding/exit interviews.
• Handle PAFs for hourly staff and update HRIS with accurate data.
• Explain HR programs and respond to employee questions on benefits and relations.
• Process payroll bi-weekly; verify hours in AS400/ADP and secure approvals.
• Maintain organized employee files and ensure confidentiality and compliance.
