Job summary

The role reports to the Operations Manager and runs 6:00am-3:00pm, focusing on training, hazard control, and compliance across the site.

You will develop programs, track KPIs, and collaborate with managers to sustain a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) in Health and Safety preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in health and safety programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to train and communicate effectively.
• Must have MS Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency.
• OSHA 30 Hour for General Industry is a desired qualification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and training of new employees and temporary staff.
• Identify and control hazardous workplace conditions.
• Coordinate removal of physical, biological, and chemical hazards.
• Train employees on safety policies and governmental regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state health and safety regulations.
• Develop and report on KPIs for safety performance.
• Lead technical training programs and materials.
• Maintain Alchemy LMS and ensure information is up-to-date.
