Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Plant Health & Safety Coordinator to ensure facility compliance with health and safety regulations and government requirements. You will lead audits, inspections, and corrective actions to prevent injuries and losses.

Responsibilities include overseeing PPE usage, safety walks, training, incident investigations, and regulatory inquiries to uphold safety standards across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety management, safety sciences, occupational health & safety or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a safety professional; or 10+ years in process safety management and regulatory compliance in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility compliance with health and safety regulations and gov't requirements.
• Conduct audits, safety observations, inspections, and monitor corrective actions.
