Amcor in the United States seeks a Plant Manager to lead overall plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, service, and cost targets. The role reports to the Director of Manufacturing and manages a large facility with 400+ employees and a 6–10 person Plant Lead Team.

You will drive safety culture, manage KPI performance, lead HC planning, and execute budgeting and Cap‑Ex while growing CI capabilities and sustaining customer-focused results.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience in a production environment
• Demonstrated passion for safety
• 7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in flexible packaging
• Lives Amcor Values and leads by example
• Proven ability to lead and drive continuous improvement
• Strong Customer Service mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of BNA customers and plant capabilities
• Demonstrated understanding of drivers of plant results, including ability to interpret financial results
• Demonstrated CI knowledge, Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred

Responsabilidades

• Leads plant safety culture and prioritizes safety in all responsibilities
• Identify opportunities for improvement by reviewing data and KPI performance
• Oversee human capital planning, goal setting, salary planning and performance management
• Attract, hire and develop direct reports with succession planning
• Ensure compliance with safety, product safety, fire protection, and company policies
• Ensure effective communications for all product associates
• Manage process control initiatives with proper SOPs for quality and safety
• Lead plant budgeting processes
• Oversee plant Cap-Ex execution
• Grow CI culture with resources and team leadership
• Ensure regulatory compliance at local, state and federal levels
• Drive employee engagement and action planning
• Lead best practice sharing with other facilities
• Meet safety targets and deliver on plant budget and KPI
• Strong financial acumen and enterprise thinking
• Develop organizational capability and leadership across the plant
• Collaborate and influence across functions
• Lead change and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain plant capability aligned with market knowledge
