American Axle & Manufacturing seeks a Plant Finance Manager at the Wooster, OH plant to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. The role leads accounting staff, ensures GAAP/SOX compliance, and partners with auditors and tax authorities to optimize cost and profitability.

The position requires manufacturing finance experience, strong ERP and MS Office skills, and a track record of developing financial processes at the plant level.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced degree and/or accounting certifications preferred.
• 5+ years progressive leadership experience.
• Knowledgeable in manufacturing, business, accounting and finance concepts, hardware, operating systems, Microsoft Office, HFM, Plex, Oracle and other ERP systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Manage financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing, and other accounting functions.
• Oversee accounting staff and provide development for team.
• Prepare and forecast reports on income, expenses, and earnings.
• Coordinate financial control plans including profit, sales, budgets and capital investments.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Interact with auditors and tax authorities; manage local tax and treasury.
• Lead IPM and other Agile tasks with Program Management Team.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
