Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent technical degree.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, general ledger systems, and forecasting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• SAP, PeopleSoft, Longview, and Performance Excellence knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Close the financial books monthly and analyze results.
• Support accounting activities including fixed asset management, inventory valuation, product costing, budgeting, forecasting, and controls.
• Assist in annual budgeting and business forecasts with ROI/IRR/Payback analyses.
• Work with plant personnel to identify cost reduction opportunities and maintain cost accounting systems.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis.
• Back up the Controller in day-to-day financial operations.
