KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting seeks a hands-on Plant Controller to lead financial operations for a U.S. manufacturing facility.

The role oversees accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control while partnering with plant leadership to improve profitability, cash flow, and operational performance. The successful candidate will manage monthly closes, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls, while driving process improvements and leading the local Finance

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or controlling experience, incl. manufacturing and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and business partnering skills.

Responsabilidades

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Oversee general accounting, cost accounting, inventory, and internal controls.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, margins, spending, and working capital to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with plant leadership to support business decisions, pricing, capital investments, and profitability initiatives.
• Manage audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting requirements.
• Improve finance processes, standardize workflows, and leverage Microsoft Copilot and approved automation tools to increase efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop the local Finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of progressive accounting or controlling experience, including manufacturing and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and business-partnering skills.
