Job summary

Graham Packaging seeks a Plant Engineer to enhance manufacturing performance, drive maintenance reliability, and lead capital projects across our facilities. The role focuses on electrical control systems, PLC processes, and equipment upgrades to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have a mechanical/electrical manufacturing background with 5+ years in engineering/maintenance, and knowledge of Lean TPM and Six Sigma. Travel to multiple sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM and Six Sigma.
• Experience with SAP, CMMS or similar maintenance/project systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Plant Reliability and Maintenance Excellence through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Manage Engineering and Capital Projects from concept through implementation, including budgeting and contractor management.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence using Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Provide Technical Leadership and cross-functional support for manufacturing processes and facility improvements.
• Lead engineering initiatives to improve safety, productivity, and product quality.
