Job summary

Riceland Foods is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to maintain and install electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and electronically controlled systems in the plant located in Marston, MO.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with related experience or training; a one-year certificate from college or technical school is preferred. You will work with conduit, wiring, switchgear, MCCs, PLC equipment, scales, and field devices while upholding plant safety and training commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related training or experience.
• Preferred: one-year certificate from college or technical school in electrical trades.
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and/or install electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and electronically controlled systems in the plant.
• Install and maintain conduit and wiring, switchgear and motor control centers, PLC equipment, scales, electronic process equipment, field electrical devices.
• Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
• Other duties may be assigned and plant safety must be observed.

Job Description

Maintain and/or install electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and electronically controlled systems in the plant.

Job Duties

• Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them, and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor.
• Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
• Install and Maintain conduit and wiring, switchgear and motor control centers, PLC equipment, scales, electronic process equipment, field electrical devices (switches, lighting, level, and pressure controls, etc.)

Education Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training preferred.

Preferred

One year certificate from college or technical school; and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
