Job summary

Ash Grove Cement is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot and repair electrical power distribution equipment, motor/control systems, and plant instrumentation at our Leamington facility. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and hands-on mechanical work.

Under supervision, you will diagnose issues using programmable equipment, follow safety procedures, and support conversion to See Stop Do culture. Strong reading of schematics and blueprints is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent is required.
• Associates degree in related field and/or Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
• 2 years of experience in industrial electrical/instrumentation repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning electrical and power distribution equipment.
• Repairs motor/control systems, plant instrumentation and interactive plant controls.
• Performs welding, fabrication and related mechanical repairs as needed.
