Shaw Industries seeks a Maintenance Tech Lead to oversee installation and repair of electrical equipment, including PLCs and inverters. You will train technician‑electricians, manage preventive maintenance, and lead electrical projects across the plant.

You will respond to trouble calls, guide troubleshooting, and ensure safe, timely completion of all tasks while maintaining documentation and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have verifiable experience.
• Interpret schematics, prints and oral instructions; set up and programming of PLCs, inverters and related controls.
• Must use test equipment: DMMs, amp meters, Megger meters.
• Design, install, repair and maintain motors, drives, PLCs and related systems.
• Draw schematics and compile documentation for complex projects.
• Knowledge of computers, PLCs, HMI, inverters and electronics.
• Write and troubleshoot complex PLC programs.
• Know electrical trade practices and safety precautions.
• Diagnose and remedy maintenance problems.

Responsabilités

• Receive project assignments from supervisor and respond to trouble calls.
• Provide technical guidance and training to plant technician-electricians.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Oversee all electrical projects in the plant.
• Assist manufacturing during downtime and with cleanup as needed.
• Complete assignments in a timely fashion.
• Report quality and safety issues to management.
