Job summary

Green Plains is seeking an EHSS Manager to oversee environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance at the Fergus Falls plant. You will lead permit management, incident investigations, training, and corrective actions to ensure a zero-harm work environment. You may direct EHSS Specialists and report to VP EHSS.

The role involves hands-on safety leadership, collaboration with plant staff, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Travel seasonally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of EHSS experience, preferably in management.
• Ability to organize and lead people and projects.
• Willingness to travel seasonally.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility regulatory permits and EHSS records.
• Conduct EHSS training per regulatory requirements.
• Promote EHSS awareness at the plant and monitor compliance.
• Lead EHSS committee and implement policies.
