Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, engineering or related field.
OSHA standards knowledge and environmental regulations.
Experience leading incident investigations and corrective actions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for training and reporting.
Ability to work on the plant floor across shifts.

Responsibilities

Manage PPE programs, industrial hygiene sampling and exposure monitoring.
Oversee emergency response plans, drills and first aid readiness.
Track EHS metrics and present trends to plant leadership.
Maintain environmental, health and safety programs for the plant.
Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are closed.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for injuries and near misses.
Coordinate OSHA and environmental compliance reporting and recordkeeping.
Deliver safety training and onboarding for new and existing employees.
