Job summary

The Pivot Group Careers is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for opportunities in the Cadillac, MI area. This role focuses on leading environmental, health and safety programs across manufacturing sites, driving OSHA compliance and continuous safety improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field, strong incident investigation skills, and the ability to coordinate training, reporting and cross-functional initiatives across shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Experience leading incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ability to manage safety training, onboarding and reporting.
• Comfort coordinating across shifts in a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update environmental, health and safety programs for the plant.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for injuries and near misses.
• Coordinate OSHA and environmental compliance reporting and recordkeeping.
• Deliver safety training and onboarding for new and existing employees.
• Manage PPE programs, industrial hygiene sampling and exposure monitoring.
• Oversee emergency response plans, drills and first aid readiness.
• Track EHS metrics and present trends to plant leadership.
