Job summary

Fabcon is seeking a Plant Environmental Health & Safety Manager in Grandville, MI. You will plan, implement and supervise environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure legal compliance and a safe workplace.

Responsibilities include leading EHS program development, conducting inspections, conducting training, and managing incident investigations and regulatory filings, while partnering with HR on drug testing and pandemic response.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in safety field.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in the development of overall environmental, health, and safety program for plant and field operations.
• Lead the implementation of the Fabcon Safety Excellence and Leadership (SEAL) roadmap.
• Assist in the leadership of identifying, controlling, and eliminated workplace hazardous conditions and unsafe employee activities.
• Develop, implement, and conduct EHS training programs.
• Lead and conduct work area EHS inspections/audits and ensure compliance to regulatory and Fabcon standards.
• Develop action plans to address safety issues and environmental compliance.
• Conduct field Site Safety Assessments (SSA's).
• Lead the incident investigation process.
• Manage all EHS documentation to include such things as incident investigations, training, permits, etc.
