The Pivot Group Careers is seeking an EHS Manager to join manufacturers in the Grand Haven area, within Ottawa County, Michigan. The role focuses on leading safety and environmental programs, investigations, and training to maintain compliance and safe operations.

You’ll work on-site with partner companies, supporting incident investigations, OSHA reporting, and program management. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; relocation flexibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for training and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for injuries and near misses.
• Coordinate OSHA and environmental compliance reporting and recordkeeping.
• Deliver safety training and onboarding for new and existing employees.
• Manage PPE programs, industrial hygiene sampling and exposure monitoring.
• Oversee emergency response plans, drills and first aid readiness.
• Track EHS metrics and present trends to plant leadership.
• Maintain and update environmental, health and safety programs for the plant.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify hazards and confirm corrective actions are closed.

Salary Range: $82,000 – $127,000 depending on experience

• Background in industrial hygiene or ergonomics.
• Experience with behavior based safety programs.
• Familiarity with workers compensation case management.
• Certified Safety Professional or similar certification.
• Experience with ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 management systems.
