Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking experienced EHS managers for opportunities with manufacturers in and around Manistee, MI. Roles focus on developing and maintaining robust safety and environmental programs across plant operations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, or engineering, plus hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting and strong communication skills to train staff and report to leadership.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations.
• Experience leading incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for training and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee emergency response plans, drills and first aid readiness.
• Track EHS metrics and present trends to plant leadership.
• Maintain and update environmental, health and safety programs for the plant.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify hazards and confirm corrective actions are closed.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for injuries and near misses.
• Coordinate OSHA and environmental compliance reporting and recordkeeping.
• Deliver safety training and onboarding for new and existing employees.
• Manage PPE programs, industrial hygiene sampling and exposure monitoring.
