Exemplar Global seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee safety operations at our Indiana plant. You will support the EHS program focusing on preventing injuries and illnesses, and maintain regulatory compliance.

You will lead program planning and continuous improvement, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure training and reporting requirements are met. The role requires strong communication and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of environmental health and safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret OSHA and EPA regulations and related safety/environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsabilités

• Leads the planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of environmental health and safety programs.
• Manage programs geared to protect health and safety of employees, visitors, and contractors, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and correct hazardous activities and ensure safety training is conducted as required.
• Promote safe and professional work practices compliant with EHS policies and regulations.
• Report EHS incidents, root causes, corrective actions, and communicate to stakeholders.
• Represent the company as the EHS subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit EHS reports, assessments, and records to internal stakeholders and external regulatory agencies.
• Stay abreast of latest EHS trends, policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Comply with environmental and food safety standards in plant policies.
