Job summary

LP Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety leader for a manufacturing operation in Minnesota. You will drive plant-level EHS programs, mentor teams, and ensure ongoing compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include leading EHS strategy, deploying management systems, coordinating audits, and partnering with HR and Plant leadership to manage budgets and incident investigations. Travel is possible up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Maintaining or working towards CSP, OHST, or CSM certifications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the EHS field.
• Experience leading and directing employees in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the plant in all EHS matters.
• Oversee deployment of plant-level EHS Management Systems.
• Develop and implement EHS programs at the plant level.
• Coordinate and manage Site Safety Committee activities.
• Lead investigations of EHS incidents in coordination with HR.
• Assist Plant Manager in budgeting for EHS activities and capital projects.
• Interact with EHS regulators and participate in audits.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, hazardous waste, air permit provisions.
