Job summary

LALA US, Inc is seeking an EHS Manager at our dairy manufacturing facility to lead safety, health, and environmental programs. You will partner with plant leadership to embed EHS into daily operations and drive a proactive safety culture.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution on the plant floor, including incident investigations, training, audits, and regulatory compliance across OSHA, EPA, and FDA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field required or strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of EHS manufacturing experience.
• CSP certification preferred.
• Experience in single-site/mid-sized plant environment preferred.
• Food safety certifications a plus (HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite EHS leader and subject matter expert for the facility.
• Partner with Plant Manager and leadership to embed safety into operational decisions.
• Lead safety committee and employee engagement initiatives.
• Drive a strong safety culture through floor presence and coaching.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, FDA and local regulatory compliance for food manufacturing.
• Manage inspections, audits, documentation, and reporting.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses; implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and drills.
• Oversee waste management, water and air emissions programs.
• Coordinate EHS training for all employees and supervisors.
