Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Plant Manager for the Cleveland, OH facility, responsible for the remanufacturing of propulsion equipment and related components with full business leadership. You will lead the site leadership team to drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery while maintaining regulatory and customer compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in plant management or equivalent leadership, with a focus on lean practices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a accredited university
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Plant Management and/or large supervisory role or equivalent operational experience

Responsibilities

• Lead site leadership team to execute continuous improvement focused on EHS and site compliance
• Drive safety, reliability, quality, cost and UX variance improvements
• Manage financial controllership related to work orders, inventory, UX variance and costs
• Set site strategy aligning resources to long-term outcomes
• Collaborate with UX variance team to reduce product cost through optimized work scopes
• Foster a culture of accountability, compliance and operational excellence with hourly and exempt workforce
• Ensure compliance with company, regulatory and customer policies and regulations
• Develop capacity and contingency plans to sustain delivery during demand changes
