Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a skilled Operations Team member for the Grove City Diesel Engine Remanufacturing Facility. You will support daily operations, act as a change agent, and drive reliability and consistency on the production line.

The role emphasizes leading cross-functional teams, implementing continuous improvement, and collaborating with engineering and quality to optimize output. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• One year of experience supervising and developing large teams is a plus.
• Diesel engine assembly experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems with Lean Manufacturing/5S knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.
• Lead improvement projects focusing on safety, quality, productivity, lean and cost reduction.
• Interact daily with hourly assemblers, quality and manufacturing engineers to increase yield and output.
• Lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to drive positive change.
