Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Las Vegas, NV seeks a seasoned Lean Operations leader to drive the site’s lean transformation. You will coach plant leadership, mentor teams, and advance Wabtec Management System disciplines to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will lead Kaizen events, Daily Management, and value stream mapping while building lean capability across the organization. Travel ~10% is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading lean transformation in manufacturing.
• Experience implementing pull systems, flow, kanban, and lean operations.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop leaders and teams.
• Willingness to travel about 10%.

Responsibilities

• Coach plant leaders to strengthen lean leadership and execution of improvement initiatives.
• Lead implementation and sustainment of the Wabtec Management System and lean disciplines.
• Facilitate Daily Management, kaizen events, A3 problem-solving, and value stream mapping.
• Partner with leadership to drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction.
