Job summary

Wabtec Corporation seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and document robust production processes, lead tooling design, and evaluate changes for feasibility. You will drive lean improvements, coordinate with quality and design teams, and ensure safe, cost-effective manufacturing practices.

With 5+ years in manufacturing and a degree in engineering technology, you will mentor operators, monitor performance metrics, and support new product launches while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in engineering tech or related field required.
  • Five+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong lean manufacturing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire others.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and document robust manufacturing processes and work instructions.
  • Lead design of required tooling and accessories.
  • Evaluate design changes for production feasibility and release to manufacturing.
  • Lead lean improvements to reduce waste and cycle times.
  • Monitor production lines, identify bottlenecks and quality issues using data.
