Job summary

Wabtec is a global leader providing equipment, systems, digital solutions and value-added services. We seek a Manufacturing Engineer to lead problem resolution across methods, processes, tooling, and design within Global Operations Equipment.

You will collaborate with teams and stakeholders, acting as a positive change agent while applying Lean and Six Sigma concepts to improve quality and productivity. A Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years in manufacturing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or quality; engineering background preferred in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work effectively on a team and serve as a positive change agent.
• Strong oral and written communication across levels in a complex matrix; Lean/Six Sigma knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Solve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and design.
• Collaborate with teams and key stakeholders to support our internal customers.
• Demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes.
