Job summary

Hendrickson in Alabama is seeking an accounting professional to oversee plant-level financial activities, including cost accounting, inventory management, and costing. You will partner with the plant manager to improve financial visibility and support capital projects from approval to installation.

The role requires BS/BA in Accounting with manufacturing cost experience and must-haves in general accounting. CMA/CPA is a plus; MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

BS/BA in Accounting is required.
CMA/CPA certificate is a plus.
MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide financial support for capital development projects from approval to installation.
Record manufacturing and overhead costs accurately.
Analyze variances, monthly operating results, and key operating measures.
Produce daily, weekly, monthly manufacturing reports.
Identify cost reduction opportunities with local management.
Assist in monthly closing and record recurrent expenses.
Support internal/external audits and maintain internal controls.
Develop monthly forecasts and annual plans with management.
Participate in staff meetings and monthly reviews.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain Fixed Asset System.
