Job summary

HireReady Partners is seeking a Financial Analyst for a manufacturing client in Corsicana, Texas. You will partner with the Plant Controller to deliver accurate financial reporting, cost analyses, and forecasting to drive cost efficiency and GAAP/SOX compliance.

The role requires 4–7 years of manufacturing accounting experience, SAP in GL/Costing/Procurement/Inventory, and strong Excel skills. Minimal travel; onsite at the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 4–7 years relevant experience in manufacturing finance.
• SAP experience primarily in GL, Costing, Procurement and Inventory.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Track and review all manufacturing spending; propose reclassification entries or accruals as necessary and note anomalies for management.
• Perform financial and manufacturing analysis including variance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Provide COGS forecasting including standard cost, PPV, and manufacturing variances.
• Investigate and explain financial variances.
• Prepare plant reports including explanations of variances.
• Liaise with internal/external auditors for quarterly and annual audits.
• Manage inventory accuracy, reconciliations, and financial impact analysis.
• Perform cost runs and validate product costing working closely with Engineering.
• Analyze production and purchase price variances.
• Prepare journal entries including accruals and reclassifications.
• Reconcile accrual and prepaid accounts.
• Support audits and ensure GAAP/SOX compliance.
• Review Intercompany Revenue and COGS to ensure balance.
